Anton was the longtime legal director for an important human rights organization in Russia. He invited me years ago to teach human rights lawyers across the country about strategic litigation, or at least how it was done in this country. I quickly learned that so many of the prerequisites for our work didn't exist there, like free and independent courts and media. Nonetheless, Anton had stunning success using available tools. Now I look to Anton for guidance on how we navigate the changing landscape. That's all by way of background since he's now here, and ready and willing to help out as an expert on claims involving Russians.
He is currently producing bespoke Country Condition Reports and providing expert testimony for major pro bono practices. He is highly recommended by Steven Schulman and the pro bono team at Akin Gump, with whom he has recently partnered on several complex, high-stakes asylum appeals.
If you or your teams are in need of a deeply knowledgeable, highly credible
expert for Russian country conditions, I highly recommend reaching out to him.
